How to cover a tattoo with makeup

Tattoos are fine. If you have a nice design in a location that is right, the tattoo can be a flattering embellishment. Sometimes we get carried away by the folly of youth and we do drawings over time as we wanted to take away , but you have to save for the laser and now need to opt for other solutions.

It can also happen that we take a design somewhere in sight, we like a lot, but in some cases prefer to hide . They always say that if you go to a job interview is better not to wear visible tattoos , but neither rings, bracelets , necklaces , things that you can say something because the image we give is neutral , you never know who is going to us interview .

It may also be that a wedding , or similar event, like it does not end with that tattoo so visible that as fancy dress, and we want to cover . It is difficult and I would say that if you can cover with a best accessory , but if you 're going to make up must take care that it is not an orange blur and can not go ruining the makeup with the passing hours .

Are often themselves the brides who want to hide tattoos. With the theme of the photos, hugging dresses that skim the end can be a little confusing , and I would say that only a professional career (I mean make-up film or photo shoots ) could cover it 100% without problems.

If the tattoo is small, inconspicuous, nice areas to just goes with the whole and there is no need to cover it . No talk of tribal or chinese letters but delicate designs like butterflies , a flower generally well made and not too aggressive or flashy things .

If it is a very large tattoo is sometimes best left respecting the style of the bride and that is the dress that suits these ornaments , plugging or teaching them well and make it your best.

In any case, the makeup does miracles , and if one day you want to show your tattoo will tell you how you can cover and that nothing or very little noticed.

WHAT DO I NEED ?

It takes some products, the more professional they are, give us better result . With professional I do not mean expensive. We need:
  • Correction in various hues , mandatory Promote salmon tone , one green and one beige. The thicker the better.
  • Base fluid makeup or concealer tone closest to the area to cover skin.
  • Translucent Powder
  • Marshmallows makeup
  • A tassel
  • Know that involves a tattoo makeup cover a larger area than that occupied by the tattoo itself , because you have to match colors and seem to want nothing , avoiding the patch.
I have this wheel Kryolan correctors that I showed here the other day , and you would use for these purposes . But if you have other brands correctors well clogging , also valid , although the standard proofreaders are not designed to cover both . You will have to try several until you find yours, that's for sure

STEP 1 : Plugging
We cover tattoo with concealer, using a sponge for those triangular , and small pat , without dragging . Apply thin coats , let dry and still . We must neutralize the color, but if we pegotones concealer will not dry and then be deleted when we put something on.What use concealer to cover the tattoo?

Depends , if we use black salmon, if you have colors, we will be guided by this wheel using its complementary color, to neutralize it. It seems silly but it's the only way to cover any discoloration . Hence I told you that corrective Pied needed !As I said , for a black tattoo concealer will use orange or salmon. For red colors , we will use the green. For green tones , one red , and so on , each color with its complementary lid .

STEP 2 : Neutralizing
You might have a big trouble now rare in our skin colors. Now when we apply another concealer on top , making sure the previous coat is dry. If we are not safe , and put loose powder over the new braces .
Would choose a beige, or meat , some like our skin, and if it is a little clearer better. This step will repeat until it all properly neutralized , even if it means putting my shades.
If we become very very green correctors or equal orange is better to cover it with its complement and then the beige or flesh. There are many editors wheels on the market, how are you Sonya or Kiko , but it is important to see that pigmenten not much , very much, to cover something as strong as a tattoo
 .

STEP 3 : HIDING
Now we have to unify the skin tone, and we will employ a fluid base, back to base and slowly pat . Must be an even clearer that our skin tones, because then dark in the next step. I use the MUFE Full Cover is extraordinary how cap and lasts a long time. If you have to mix several bases and potions to achieve your perfect shade , do not hesitate to do so. It is the secret to cover up what it takes.

Try not to leave a stand , but extend little by little, as much as needed, to be confused with skin. I repeat that if clearer better because now a couple of tones darker.
STEP 4 : SETTING
We apply a loose powder over, but not before having waited for it to dry the base applied . It is VERY IMPORTANT that you apply with a tassel , because a brush will drag everything you have put before.

Dust and matificará the result set but the color will go up a couple of shades , hence I say to use a clarita base. I usually use one of MaxFactor because it is the cheapest I could find. You must apply the dust throughout the area and surroundings.

The MUFE HD Powder also be worth, but I prefer ordinary , cheap one and other , which is not a matter of life or death and we just want to fix and not go around pringando everything we touch .

STEP 5: EXAMINING
and retouchingWe analyze the results under various lights and if necessary, apply another thin layer of lighter or darker with finger and pat concealer. What we see is striking , we cover as necessary , but in all places alike. It is for retouching , standardize and others.
If you use good products , we can take as many layers as you want to get even skin tone, which is the most complicated. It's a job that requires patience , but with practice in the end as easy as plugging any other imperfections on the skin. In about 10 minutes max should be ready .
Rinse well, each has his methods and tutorials I've seen out there where brushes are used, but I have always given me bad results ; neither can you cover a tattoo with only one product , because after the cap is the " sneaky " and you have to get a tone similar to our skin.
People who try to cover with makeup and concealers to use in the end what they get is that after a while it melts so plasta and see everything, so I recommend you for these things heap up products professionals like Kryolan , Ben Nye , etc, which are resistant to water and passage of time do plasta , and you will have no problem .

It may also be that under different types of light the color look of one form or another . Obviously in the dark is easier than it seems completely uniform color , but if you've followed all the steps with patience you can get the same results as if you had nothing .

Do you proved this tutorial helpful? Would you have had to cover a tattoo ? Do you find it useful to cover other marks or stains ?
